IMO I would have preferred that they elected to play this song instead of S!CK for their aired song on JKL. Automatic Sun along with HYCAD are my 2 favorites of the new Fed Album. ❤❤❤

You're right, they're not in the shred game. They're in the riff game, and they write some monster riffs.

Phil, TWB just dropped an MTV push, with several songs including Automatic Sun. It seems they may still be EVOLVE-ing the song as there were some touches added not even in the Kimmeel or release party versions. And they continue to show their live superpowers! In their speaking parts they agreed that Automatic Sun is just fun, especially to play live. Sure is fun to listen to and watch. And, one interesting thing, the strums above the nut, on the headstock, also seem to be evolving. Here each of the three HB ad a different tone. Very ymmv cool that.

Your analysis and insight delivered in optimistic excitement would make me love any song. Even if I despised the song, Im sure my mind would be changed by the end of the video. But, that has yet to be tested because I happen to enjoy The Warning's music.

You got to check the song queen of the murder scene! It's really heavey ,deep and dark .. Alot going on with the music and even some doulbe kicks on the drums..my 1st time watching your channel but it seems you would like this song just watching your reaction to this vid .. Same concert so you shouldn't have a problem finding it.

Paus sceam is appropriately deemed "Pau's scream of destruction" Pau can do this sceam due to her very unique singing voice. Look up Paus you tube vid of her cover of the song "Creep". It's just her and a piano in her living room. You will see what I mean , she has the most beautiful and unique singing voice. She's just brilliant.

At 6:46 you basically played the intro for another song from them, Choke, very similar and I really like when artists kinda recycle some parts of their biggest riff and rearrange it for new songs.

I'm also trying to avoid listening to the new album because I want it to be fresh when I first get to put the vinyl on my record player. But I have been streaming it on repeat on Spotify to support them out because early streaming numbers are important to a band

13 minutes just to talk about the first verse and the pre-chorus but it was so entertaining that, at least for me, felt like 5 minutes. Keep the great work!

As someone who listens to A LOT of new songs (including 112 new albums only this year), I have no clue how I got to like The Warning SO MUCH and maybe this "hidden complexity" on their songs is making it for me. Thanks for this video!

THANKS FOR ANOTHER AWESOME REACTION!!!!!! I love that you don't just watch, but take the time to analyze and breakdown each song. I'm not very knowledgeable about music, so learning about the different tricks and techniques being used makes me appreciate the song even more!

Am I the only one who thinks they held back a lot? I fear that some producer or managment person asked them to not go as hard, since the audience is not used to it. I mean, look at Pau, she is tapping the drums very lightly, not smashing the crap out of them as usual. Either way, they are better than anything else out there, I'm just a bit disappointed that they seem to be going more mainstream.

Great reaction and analysis as always. You consistently unpack things in a really interesting way. Thanks for doing these. I'm going to suggest you consider doing a song-pairing reaction. Try Animosity followed by Six Feet Deep. These songs, along with Narcissista, are the we-bite-back trilogy all aimed at detractors. And for fun, maybe on your own time, check out their appearance on the Ellen show. Something from that shows up in the music video for Six Feet Deep. (They got invited to the Ellen show as a result of the early cover they did of Enter Sandman at 9.12 and 14 years of age going viral.)

This is another song which I massively prefer live, so I'm really glad the Jimmy Kimmel video wasn't posted five minutes later! It feels quite a bit more tame than when I saw them live, which is probably down to the TV studio environment, but even so I really don't get on with the production on the studio version. The recent song with the biggest difference for me, though, is _Hell_ _You_ _Call_ _a_ _Dream,_ and I hope you do the Pepsi Center CDMX performance. Thanks for the insights!
